Virtual Audio Production
MagArt Productions can produce a fully mixed and mastered virtual recording of your composition utilizing MIDI technology and Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software.
From the completed Finale or Sibelius music notation files that have been created, we will take this digital information and create a fully orchestrated and assembled digital reproduction of your music. With the utilization of MIDI technology, high-end digital instrument samples and professional DAW software for recording, editing, mixing, and mastering, we can produce a virtual audio recording that can sound as full and rich as if it were recorded by professional musicians.
If you are a composer that would like to have a demo recording completed of your composition or hear a trial performance to assure that it will sound as you imagined. This is a cost effective option to help launch your new work. If your a vocalist and would like to have a instrumental recording of an accompaniment for practice purposes or to record an audition CD, we can provide a quick turn around. If you are a producer and need to add backing instruments to enhance a smaller ensemble in a live performance. If you are game developer or film producer in need of a soundtrack recording.
Virtual Instruments: MagArt Productions maintains a full library of some of the most respected and true sounding digitally sampled virtual software instruments that are available. Our library is centered around instruments produced by Garritan (www.garritan.com) and EastWest/Quantum Leap (www.soundsonline.com) with a listing of available instruments and sounds that can meet the demands of even the most inventive compositions.
Digital Audio Workstation: Our DAW software of choice is Sonar by Cakewalk. Within this comprehensive program, we can take the MIDI information generated from the Finale or Sibelius files, assign an unlimited number of virtual instruments to the tracks, apply audio effects from our extensive collection of effects and VSTi plugins, and perform final edit, mix, and mastering.
Musicality: Like the art of music copying and engraving, producing a high quality audio recording is more than executing the software alone. To have acheive a computerized musical production that is truly a performance of your work, competent musicianship, a strong presence of dynamics, articulation, and tempo- the "feeling and emotion", and a very good ear for instrument balance and mixing all come into play.
